Century Woods has been our newly joint partnered in our Export Division. Main products are Tea Tables, Tea Plates, Decoration Tables, Chairs, etc. They are all made and convert from Natural "Cengal Emas" roots. We made them 100% based on its' natural shapes, and our strict preference on remaining our products to its' original quality. All roots and its shapes are special selected by our wood experts in the deep Malaysia rain forests. Moreover, the roots are all over century years old. That's the value of our products!

Cengal, Cengai - Once the best timber hard wood found in the tropical forest of Malaya, cengal was to Malaya what teak was to Burma and Thailand. It is only found in Peninsular Malaysia where it grows in lowland forest below 600 meters above sea level. It grows exceptionally slowly, taking about 100 years to attain a diameter of 16 inches. Characterized as "hard, strong, heavy (and), durable", it is brownish-yellow in colour, and becomes harder on exposure to the elements. Where strength and durability was required such as for construction of lamp posts, beams, sleepers and bridgework, cengal was "the standard wood" used. As over-logging made cengal scarce, it was replaced with reinforced concrete columns for structural work. The prized hard wood was also used to build the bedor, the ancient Malay sailing ships. This highly valued and sought-after timber tree is one of Malaysia's 10 most endangered plants.
